Booking an Appointment


Please bring your health card with you to each visit, and ensure your health card is up to date. If your health card has expired, you may be required to pay for your appointment. We require 24 hours notice to cancel or reschedule an appointment. There is a charge for missed appointments or last minute cancellations.

If you require an appointment for an urgent medical issue and your own doctor is not scheduled in the office, you may be offered an appointment with another physician by calling the office. Alternatively, we may tell you to contact our After Hours Clinic.

DO NOT REQUEST AN ONLINE APPOINTMENT WITH ANOTHER PHYSICIAN. APPOINTMENT REQUESTS WITH ANOTHER PHYSICIAN WILL AUTOMATICALLY REJECTED.

PLEASE CALL THE OFFICE IF YOU REQUIRE AN APPOINTMENT AND DO NOT SEE YOUR PHYSICIAN ONLINE.

Medeo Online Booking

We understand just how busy your day can be. As part of our commitment to improve the delivery of your healthcare, we are pleased to offer free online booking using Medeo. This service is available 24/7 and is a secure and confidential portal integrated into our electronic medical records. This service is currently available for booking ‘regular’ appointments, which includes: new medical issues, follow-up appointments and prescription renewals. Online appointments are 15 minutes in office assessments, if you have multiple medical concerns, you may be required to schedule another appointment.

For appointments regarding diabetes management, appointments with our nurses, well-baby visits, periodic health reviews (annual physical check-up), counseling, and certain procedures, please contact the office.


PLEASE NOTE: ONLINE BOOKING IS ONLY FOR CURRENT PATIENTS OF THE PRACTICE, NEW PATIENTS APPOINTMENTS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED. PLEASE CONTACT THE OFFICE IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR A NEW FAMILY DOCTOR.

To book your appointment with Medeo, follow the following steps:
1.      Register/login to your account:
https://booking.medeohealth.com/doctors-office-701-240dmr
2.      Select your Doctor and choose an available appointment date/time from their calendar
3.      Select the appointment type from the available choices and indicate the reason for your appointment.
4.      Submit your request

Online requests must receive a confirmation email from our office to successfully book your appointment. If you have requested an appointment and not heard from our office within 2 business hours, please phone our office.  For appointment requests submitted after regular business hours or on weekends, we will confirm appointments within 2 hours of our opening office hours the following business day.
 
Medeo should NOT be used for EMERGENCY situations.   Should you require immediate attention, please call 911 or go to your nearest hospital.  For urgent matters that cannot wait until the next business day, please contact our After Hours Clinic at (416) 229-6300, Option 8.

E-Messaging

E- Messaging can be used with Medeo; our secure portal for encrypted email. You will receive an email notification in your inbox that a secure message has been sent by our office and you will have to enter Medeo to retrieve it. E-Messaging can be used for non-urgent matters, including relaying appointment information and test results .Messages can only be initiated from the doctor to the patient. If requested by the doctor/office, patients will be able to respond to the message.
