Duncan Family Doctors is a family physician group practice with an emphasis on patient-centered care utilizing evidence-based best practices. We are part of the North York Family Health Team and work alongside other health care professionals such as nurse practitioners, nurses, social workers, dietitians and pharmacists to see more patients and to keep them healthy.
Our Family Health Team is an important part of changing both the health care system and the way people think about health care. Our Family Health Team focuses on preventing illness and promoting health. We look at the best ways to manage chronic illnesses such as diabetes and depression. The North York Family Health Team provides care that is more accessible and comprehensive.

CONFIDENTIALITY OF INFORMATION
Our patients can expect the highest level of confidentiality from our office. You must provide authorization in order to release any medical information (including booking of appointments) to anyone (including parents/guardians, relatives, etc.). Please speak with your doctor or the front desk staff if you wish to authorize another individual.
TELEPHONES
We do attempt to answer our phones promptly and return your messages in a timely manner, it would be helpful to use the following procedures.
We handle a high volume of phone calls; there may be times when your call will not be returned for 24-48 hours.
Please state and spell both your first and last name.
Include a telephone # where we can reach you and the reason for your call.
If you would like to relay a message or have a question for your doctor, please be as brief as possible.
Please do not repeatedly call the office as doing so only delays a return call.
